Chris has 35+ years experience, mainly with start-ups, high-tech and wireless companies. His experience initially came from investment banking, (executive Director Goldman Sachs, Managing Director JPMorgan). Chris ran JPMorgan’s Telecommunications, Media and Technology for the EMEA region. Although he has worked on hundreds of transactions in many sectors, his passion has been wireless. Following his investment banking experience, Chris became an entrepreneur and created and assisted various start-ups in the fields of wireless telecommunications and technology.Chris has a BA in Economics from Yale and a MBA from Stanford.
Alexandre Silva Reis
COO & CTO
ASR has been deploying wireless networks of all types for the last 25 years. His experience spans 1G/2G/3G/4G as well as specialised networks such as TETRA. ASR has worked at deploying networks all around the world including Italy, Taiwan, Brazil, South Africa, Kuwait, Germany, Austria, Spain and the Czech Republic. ASR has degrees in Electronics & Telecommunications as well as Management.
Francisco has 41 years of experience in TV Broadcast. He started his career as a RF engineer in TV broadcast and rose to CTO of TV Manchete 2 network S.A. Francisco planned and implemented 14 broadcast stations in Brazil for Grupo Manchete and 8 broadcast stations for Rede Globo. Francisco then created FF Work, the leading Satellite Uplink company in Brazil. As owner and CEO of FF Work, Francisco supplies services to all the major TV companies in Brazil as well as many multinational broadcasters. FF Work has its own Satellite teleport in Rio de Janeiro. FF Work also imports and sells RF equipment to the Federal Government including a security project in the Amazon as well as services to all of Petrobras’ petrol stations.
Jim has over 30 years experience as a senior financial executive, primarily in the telecoms sector. His tenure includes 13 years as Group Financial Controller for an international mobile telecoms group, and additionally as CFO of Telemobil SA where he worked closely with CEO Chris Bataillard covering a range of corporate financial matters including financial planning, restructurings, and operations. Jim is a UK Chartered Accountant.
